Just bought a TV, not sure what was best
1. The price was better than Amazon, Argos, Curry or John Lewis
2. They delivered on the day of my choosing, giving me a 1 hour time slot (which they hit)
3. I used their "chat" to find out if there was an aerial in the box and got a real person on a video link
I am sure going to be using this company agai in the future!

First class delivery and product

Ordered a washing machine which was listed as 'in stock' on their website, paid the extra money for delivery, removal and scrap of old machine... Was then told the one I'd ordered wasn't actually in stock (poor inventory management) and that I can wait an indefinite amount of time as they didn't know when they'd get it in, or ask for a refund.

I asked whether they could ship me another machine that was almost identical and checked whether it was in stock first, customer support confirmed it was in stock, however they could not provide me with the same, removal and scrap of old machine because the new one would 'come directly from their stock' (don't see how the two are dependent), yet when I checked their website it said I could place an order for the same machine and have all of the services I'd paid for on the original one.

I was then told this was an error on the website (again) and it was to be removed.

After all this I asked for my money back, as what I wanted could not be fulfilled.

2 stars because they were at least communicative and attempted to help, even though their stock management / website and operations leaves something to be desired

From start to finish I am thoroughly glad I chose this company to purchase a tv from. Great item at a great price, interaction with the staff was positive and professional, and it was delivered on time and in tip top condition. I'll most certainly buy from them again!

Great service, easy to order. Delivery tracked and on time.

Having bought a soundbar and some cables, I found that I didn't need one of the cables (value c.£8). On attempting to return this they informed me they could arrange delivery. For £15. Thanks for the kind offer! Instead I returned via Royal Mail, and - wouldn't you know it - Hughes mysteriously never received it. I didn't see that coming, I don't mind telling you. Over the course of nearly 2 months, I exchanged multiple emails with the customer service team...after the first 10 I knew it was a lost cause, but kept going just to see how long it would be before they finally said 'not our problem'. It was 20. 20 emails about an £8 cable, and no resolution.
I thought British customer service like this died out in the 70s, but it seems it lumbers on, hopefully this company croaks its last soon. And then I'm sure they'll bemoan how internet retailers ruined their business...

Great product and next day delivery with a time slot. Excellent would recommend.

First class service

Easy to order and prompt delivery.

Delivery was fast and great communication, however i paid for unboxing and rubbish removal, the driver said i did not and had to argue before he would take the packaging away, and when he did they did not remove some items from the packaging and therefore missing when i went to connect the device.

Ordered a new washing machine for my mother in law which was delivered within 2 days. We opted to have the old machine removed, new one fitted and packaging taken away as well. The delivery guys even explained to my mother in law how to use the new machine so we are very impressed with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Hughes delivery service. Thank you to the delivery guys

The Sharp microwave oven we ordered arrived on the exact day that we had arranged, although it appeared to have been damaged during manufacture (slight cosmetic dent to casement). We requested a price reduction and this was accepted and promptly honoured with no detriment to the warranty. Excellent customer service throughout and brilliant price! Well done, Hughes.
